Genesis7 was exposed to music at an early age growing up outside of Chicago in a household where he was heavily influenced by Gospel and Soul Music. After a long stint of DJing he eventually decided to try his hand at producing music of his own. He had already fallen in love with HipHop at a young age, so he naturally developed a passion for producing Classic Soulful Jazzy Boom Bap HipHop, Lo-Fi HipHop, Neo-Soul, and more! Some of his production influences include iconic legendary producers JDilla RIP, Pete Rock, and DJ Premier.
He has a catalog of music that has been used in his own instrumental projects, collaborations with other talented music artists, commercial advertisements, feature films, podcasts, and other multi-media applications.
